I agree with the first reviewer and also like these cups very much. The quantity (160) is great, price is reasonable, shipment very prompt, and size (12 ounces) is really useful.It appears that these cups are not styrofoam, but some type of paper. The packaging says "de papel"It also says "no contiene poliestireno expandido.". Perfect Touch. 12 ounce by Dixiecup.These are thinner- walled than styrofoam cups but even so, these are designed, according to the packaging, to insulate from warm-hot liquids.I've "tested" these with cold water in them and didn't feel the cold through the cup. - guess the next project at some point will be to carefully test the insulating nature of the cup by carefully holding a cup of hot soup. (Packaging says an extra paper sleeve may then be unnecessary when using these cups.)These insulated paper cups have a nice rim for drinking liquids. They seem stronger than styrofoam and holes don't get punched in them so easily.My household will enjoy using these,(all year--160 cups!) and I hope you will try them, too.
