This adorable teddy bear bride and groom figurine is an unusual heirloom quality piece that can be enjoyed long after the special day. I make it entirely from borosilicate crystal and without the use of molds. I carefully form the sculpture from molten glass and then etch the figures with sand to give them their velvety soft texture. I hand paint their eyes, their noses, and his top hat and bow tie to bring out those details. Teddy bear bride holds a lovely bouquet of crystal flowers and a veil adorns her head. Holding her hand and standing proudly beside her is the teddy bear groom dressed in his wedding garb complete with bow tie, top hat and boutonniere. The couple stands 5.5 inches tall and measure 4.5 inches across and will not overpower a smaller wedding cake. This pair makes a beautiful and thoughtful shower gift.
