Aero LED Flush Mount Ceiling Light - Chrome Finish with Opal Glass Shade - Modern Lighting for Bedroom, Kitchen & Hallway

We bought 3 of these for two different bathrooms when we remodeled in 2015. One of the glass covers just ‘fell out of the sky’ this week and shattered glass everywhere in the marble bathroom - including all over me as I was drying my hair post shower. A lot of blood and bandages later, I got to clean up the mess (this baby shatters into millions of sharp pieces) and assess what happened.When we installed the light fixtures they were really difficult to twist onto the spring clips and I remember we had a really hard job to get them up. Perhaps one of them never really got installed properly and, 4 years later, it just fell off. Whatever it was - a clip that bent under the weight of th glass cover? Not hooked in properly (hard to tell when the fixture is so close to the ceiling)? — I’m certainly glad I was NOT standing directly underneath it nor LOOKING UP when it fell. I would have been at the hospital for sure instead of merely having antiseptic cream and bandages on my hand, leg and foot.We are removing the other two light fixtures and will look for new ones. I can NOT have a repeat of that experience.I like the light but my husband had to remove some bolts to get the canopy to fit flush against the ceiling. He also had to remove clips which were serving no purpose but which showed when looking at the light from a distance .We purchased 2 of them so had to do alterations to both. So, if you are handy, this is the light for you otherwise you might not be pleased with the original fittings.Nice light fixture. Looks really good.Reason for only 4 stars are:- Missing one of three tension screws. I had a spare, so I was ok.- Mounting bracket should come with open ended nuts for mounting bolts, not closed end ones. I had to source my own nuts and bolts to make sure I got a solid fit on the install.- Packaging wasn't the greatest, but fortunately nothing was broken.Small and price does not reflect the qualityWhile not using as a final fixture - completing a gut reno and while awaiting final, we needed a reliable but low cost temporary option. Came on time, easy to install, looked far better than price would suggest.The light socket is off center in the housing, meaning that the bulb when turned on is bright on one side and looks uneven. The provided mount doesn't allow for adjustments, so the bulb will point wherever it happens to be according to your electrical box mounting screws. Overall, it's a cheap Chinese light fixture.Looks great. Inexpensive modern option.Great look great price
