this tea set has gotten the attention of my 6 year old and now she comes to me and asks if we can have tea time. these are my faovrite moments with my baby. the moment i saw this on amazon i couldnt wait for christmas. this was the only thing i wanted. i couldnt be happier with this.****update**** I have since been reached out to by the company about my purchase. They have been very cordial about doing what they can to make my experience better and offered a refund.While this product wasn't right for me, it could be perfect for someone else.****original review****Two stars because the cups and saucers are still useful to me, even if the pot is not.I truly wanted to like this tea pot. The green and gold aesthetic was perfect for the little tea party I was planning on having. The thin glass feels wrong, like I'm about to become the hulk and shatter it from the smallest touch.But the true deciding factor has to be that it's not actually made for loose leaf tea. It's not even really meant for satchet teas. The diffuser part of it only has holes on the bottom (and they are far too large. I had leaves immediately escape into the clear portion of the pot) and if you toss a tea bag in there, you only get a pour over affect, giving you the weakest tea I've ever had.I thought to myself, no problem, we can take that out and still use it. Nope. The lid doesn't fit without the middle part.I could certainly throw something into the clear part and it still work, sure, but I didn't spend $60+ to deal with that.Tldr; the cups and saucers are useful, tea pot will probably become a center piece, never used, or be tossed out with the trash.The teapot that comes with this set is good for a five year olds tea party beyond that you will have to purchase a larger one to fill the 4 cups of tea that come with the set.So first, I had gotten this set for a Christmas gift for my daughter who is a HUGE Alice in Wonderland fan. This is actually an identical set to the one in the movie and she absolutely LOVED it. I did have to do a return as the first set actually had multiple pieces broken, but this company was more than willing to send me a replacement for the entire set. I returned the original and not long afterwards, I received the new tea set and it was a Christmas HIT!!!!! Definitely would recommend this for the Alice in Wonderland lover in the home.I was cautious ordering because of the color green that does not match anything in my house. But I was pleasantly surprised by the emerald and gold combination, as well as the white inside the cups so you can see the color of the tea. The pot is a little loose on top of the ceramic stand, so I’ll just have to be careful. It certainly looks elegant!This tea set is beautiful. Once I received this, I cleaned it up and couldnt believe how shiny and perfect it looks. Well made and just an overall awesome set.It is a beautiful pot set in relatively cheap price requiring gentle and careful use. Especially, lid does not tightly fit and falls when you pour tea. Keep in mind that holding the lid with the other hand so that the lid does not drop.Great looking tea set, perfect to bring out for guest. Durning delivery one of the saucers got cracked, as soon as I notified them a replacement was sent out immediately. It is a very fragile thin glass, but overall a great set.I got this set couple weeks ago,one of the cups cracked, I tried but a new set from the same seller but unfortunately couldn't be shipped to my location..but why i got in the first time.. quality of hole set is not the best but I still like it.Horrible quality, the moment I got the set it was broken. I have purchased so many items from Amazon over few months and unfortunately 70% of items are very low quality and definitely far from how they look in pictures.
